| Comments: | I med CJ and her husband at the VAMC in Philadelphia recently. Your organization sounds like they do some really great things for all veterans. My dad is a WWII vet who served on the USSNJ, USSGainard, and USSHyman. I am down the VANC every week to visit my father. I try to do as much as I can for my Dad and other veterans I meet. Just smiling and saying hello is so important to these people. At this time I am trying to start a Saturday Bible study for the veterans. Also helping them fill out paper work to get their stimiulas money amoung other things. I was not in the service, my ex-husband was in Vietnam and remember well his nightmares. He is being treated to PTSD, agent orange and other problems all through the VA. My father got him hooked up with the VA because he had no medical. He is so grateful to my father for helping him out and with life itself. When ever I meet a veteran I always ask them if they have their medical card and I explain where to go a |
