Timothy M. Lichter, 45, of Mountain Road, Montgomery,
died at 4:05 a.m. June 24, 2007,
when he hit a deer while riding his motorcycle.
He graduated from Montoursville High School class of 1980. Shortly after he
enlisted in the Air Force, and served a four year enlistment. While stationed in
North Dakota he went to welding school, and when he came back home he followed
his dreams.
He loved working on Harley Davidson Motorcycles and opened his own business, T&A Performance.
After a couple of years he went to work for Horse Power Harley in
Williamsport, and then started
Redemption Cycles in Muncy.
His love of riding motorcycles always made him feel at peace. He drag raced
early on and had some exciting runs.
Building his own dragster, he was his own
mechanic with the help of a few of his friends, and at one point was ranked 4th
in the nation in his category.
No matter what was going on in his life he had the most beautiful smile, which will be surely missed by all who knew him.
